BDS 101: Design Interview 5

DSC_1752INTERVIEW

Last and final interview about the water bottle with my best friend, Miriam Franz.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q1: What do you like about this object?
A1: "I like that it is clear… and that’s about it."

Q2: What do you not like about it?
A2: "The handle is pretty stupid. The finger grooves are made for a baby. It’s like the Jolly Green Giant’s water bottle. So if the Green Giant was a baby, it would be his baby bottle. I do not like this cap. If you drop it in the dirt, then it’ll be all dirties. And this one is kinda hard to push up and down. And you can’t put coffee in it and that makes me sad."

Q3: How’s it feel in your hand?
A3: "The width is awkward cause you can’t get your full hand around it and the grip is stupid because your fingers can’t fit."

Q4: What would you change about it?
A4: "Make it thinner and taller. This shape sucks."

Q5: would you ever see yourself using it?
A5: "The only way that I would ever use it, if I put it in a suitcase and brought it to Uganda with me during my trips and give it to a child there."

"I guess you could put the handle in your mouth"
Yeah?
